Well, a busy week back already. The children appear like they have hardly been away! We've been busy with firework pictures, construction work and shapes!
We have a builder's tray with diggers, stones, sand as well as a site office complete with computer and filing cabinet. This has quickly become a favourite, with lots of sound effects.
The children have been looking at a variety of shapes, in a many ways, see what shapes they can find around the room....
This morning a group walked to the Mobile Library Bus, we had a lovely time choosing some new books for pre-school to borrow and enjoy. This is a lovely opportunity to explore the village, meet new people and talk about what we have done and seen.
The children have been learning about Guy Fawkes and his involvement in the plot to kill King James I - he was a very naughty man!!
To celebrate the fact that the King was saved, we have made some wonderful firework pictures... it's amazing how useful a salad spinner is! Check out our pictures to see for yourself...... prints are hanging in pre-school, photographs are shown here . Enjoy!!
