It's been a great (if short!) first week back, and for some, their first week ever! All the children have settled well and seem to be enjoying getting back into the routine. Some new friendships are beginning to blossom and it is so exciting to watch their initial interactions develop into friendships, it is always fascinating to see children forge relationships and he Hingis hat attract them together 😀. A new twin taxi arrived today which meant 3 children could play together, taking it in turns to be the driver.... Lots of construction is taking place with trains, blocks, castles and boxes! We opened with a theme of 'animals' this term although we we very much be led by the children's interests and we can't wait to see where they might take us! We will also be holding 'longest plasticine snake' competiton, creating displays, decorating our Gallery, as well as enjoying a trip to the mobile library. While some of our older children have visited before, this term the Library Bus will be visiting US and so all the children will be able to participate, share a story and choose some books for us to borrow at pre-school. Exciting times and lots of adventures are brewing.... Have a great weekend!!
