Well, the first week back and lots to report already!
We have new wheelbarrows (thank you to Darran Goodale and Jennie Rowlands for their construction skills), and new buggies to support the children with their pushing and pulling skills, running and manoeuvring! Great fun!
On Tuesday afternoon we had our first PE session and we were fortunate enough to be able to use the school hall - out came a beam and some mats, and we tried our hand at summersaults and balancing (although just jumping was quite popular too!)
We've been exploring new painting techniques - this week it was finger painting and painting directly onto the tables. Some fine examples have been displayed in our Gallery.
We've been gaining confidence in using the obstacle course, helping each other across.
'Tig' and 'chase' have been very popular outside this week - surely I can't be 'it' again????
Some of the children made their own playdo - independently - which was quite an exciting thing to watch! A bit messy, but where better than preschool to try these things!! The results were amazing!
The light box was out too.... another intriguing resource.....
Oh! And the music iPad has seen lots of attention - several of our children can select a playlist, and then their favourite songs so some child-initiated discos have been played each afternoon!
I think some people will sleep well this weekend.... and I'm just thinking of the staff!!! 😊😊
See you next week, when we will be celebrating World Book Day with a week of celebrations!
Until next time...
