Firstly some apologies! My 'proof reader' has been reprimanding me for not allowing her to cast her eye over these posts before going 'live' - so please forgive any previous typos - my finger must have slipped 😉.....
It's been a busy last week of term, always lots to finish, tidy and clear away... the children have immersed themselves in play and learning, inside and outside in the ever decreasing temperatures! I'm not sure this fly would survive long outside!
Each afternoon we've finished with a 'disco' as the children have learnt to review the iPad playlists and flick from One Direction to The Gruffalo to more Wake up, Shake up! We were exhausted but the children kept going showing some great moves and dancing!
We have been arranging shapes, inside and out, making pictures and designs, trying a new challenge on the bikes and strengthening our muscles with brushes, chalks, carrying and lifting! Busy busy busy!
Those children due to start Primary School in September 2017 recognise themselves as our 'Experts' and are helping to show the other children how to be 'super sitters', 'lovely listeners' and 'fabulous friends'.... and we've seen some brilliant examples. I'm very proud of all the children, they are learning so many new skills - social, physical and cognitive..... they all deserve a rest, so enjoy half term next week, half way through the school year!!! .... but were not done yet - so much more to discover!
Enjoy... see you on the 20th February 2017
