What a busy week! It's been such fun.....
The children have made some Oobleck (that's cornflour and water 💦) which makes a fascinating mixture that's liquid until you put pressure on it... then it goes hard! Great for mark making, exploring and watching!
Outside we've been practicing throwing and catching.... running, racing, making marks, digging, sliding, ribbon twirling, wall washing and parachute games!
The weather has been mild, windy, gusty, wet and snowy - all in one week!
In Wednesday, Jill Rowe told the story of the arrival of the 3 wise men, which raised lots of Christmas Play and discussions about presents 🎁
On Thursday, Environmental Health visited - not much fun but a rating of 5 made it more positive, a particularly onerous necessity given our 'food preparation' is limited to a little baking and cutting up fruit! But we passed - yeah!!
Lastly, a big thank you to Darran Goodale and Kat Inoue for removing our rubbish - very much appreciated and keeping our outdoor spaces clear and clean 😊. Thank you also to all the other parents who offered - we may be calling on you again.
Have a great weekend! Watch out for weather warnings - snow doesn't have to stop the country but if it affects the water supply, heating or staff travel then we may be required to closed - in this case check Tapestry, emails, text message and local radio.... ❄️
Until next time....
