Wow! Friday came around so quickly this week, I almost forgot!
Wasn't it hard getting out of bed after two weeks of laying in and relaxing? But out we must, and back into the usual routine. After a slightly shaky start for some we all were soon back into the swing of things and have had lots of fun and smiles! The icy weather has provided lots to talk about, exploring the changes of adding warm water to ice in the tuff spot.... trying to dig in the frozen sand.... and watching our breath and the vapour trails of the aeroplanes overhead... all very exciting.
We've heard lots about your Christmas adventures and the excitement lives on as children retell news of their presents, the visit from Santa and the evidence of the reindeer.... how magical.
We have welcomed 5 new children this week and the others have been just wonderful at helping them find their feet and in showing them where to find particular toys - what great role models we have.
Friday morning went with a BANG as the school held a fire drill - just as the doors were opened - a fee minutes out in the cold, but everyone responded as requested so thank you.
Painting, colouring and cutting are very popular at the moment, so keep on eye on our 'gallery' as the masterpieces are displayed...
Have a great weekend - keep warm and healthy.
Until next time.....
