Who are OFSTED?
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
Marcham Pre-school are inspected regularly (roughly every 3 years) to determine the effectiveness of our Early Years provision. Our most recent inspection was in December 2017 when we were rated as 'GOOD'. A copy of our full report can be viewed here.

- The committee, management team and staff work well together to create a welcoming and happy environment for the children.
- Staff observe, track and monitor children's learning and development consistently to help ensure they all make ongoing progress.
- Parents spoken to at the pre-school talk highly of the staff and their commitment to supporting their children's development. All children are developing good skills needed for their next stages of learning.
- Staff promote children's communication, friendships and imagination very well.
- All children benefit from activities which are planned to meet their learning needs and offer challenges and stimulation.
- All children are developing good skills needed for their next stages of learning.
